CARMEL, Ind. – On August 1st, yoga enthusiasts and newcomers alike are invited to the inaugural Yoga Dream at the Palladium event, promising an immersive experience in yoga, meditation, live music, and art. Hosted in the elegant Robert Adam room within the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts, the event commences at 5:30 p.m.
Presented collaboratively by Kara Goodwin Meditation, Michelle Qureshi Music, and the Carmel Arts Council, the event aims to foster community and personal connection through a diverse program designed to showcase the transformative power of yoga.
Susan Haigh, renowned as the event’s yoga instructor, expressed her vision for Yoga Dream: “It’s about creating an environment where people can come together and discover how yoga can enhance their lives – promoting well-being, inner calm, presence, and a deeper connection with their bodies.”
Returning to Carmel annually from her base in Madrid, where she combines yoga teaching with remote work in tech, Haigh intentionally timed her visit to coincide with the event, eager to share her passion with the local community. Her journey into yoga began as a means of recovery following a mountain biking accident that resulted in a broken ankle. Since becoming a certified instructor in 2022, yoga has become an integral part of her life’s journey.
Joining Haigh is Carmel resident Kara Goodwin, a seasoned meditation guide who will lead a session following the yoga practice. “I’m excited about the holistic approach of Yoga Dream,” Goodwin remarked. “It offers participants a unique opportunity to explore different facets of themselves through a seamless blend of yoga, meditation, music, and art.”
Haigh, reflecting on the upcoming event, shared her anticipation: “When we share our passions, magical things unfold in life. This event is a testament to that.”
With limited space available, early registration is encouraged, with a fee of $49 per participant. For more information and registration details, visit yogadreamsusan.com/yoga-dream-at-the-palladium.
