Singapore’s popular Yoga Movement has officially arrived in Hong Kong, aiming to shake up the city’s fitness scene with its unique blend of fitness-focused, spiritually neutral yoga. The brand’s first Hong Kong studio is now open in H Queen’s, located in the vibrant Central district.
Founded in 2012 by former singer-songwriter Alicia Pan, Yoga Movement has become a staple in Singapore’s fitness community, known for its high-quality workouts and welcoming atmosphere. After 12 years of success at home, the brand is now taking its first steps beyond Singapore’s borders.
“We noticed a lot of similarities between Singapore and Hong Kong,” said Pan. “Both cities are fast-paced and bustling, and people here are always looking for brief moments of relaxation. We want to offer a place that feels like a second home—a warm, community-driven space where people can unwind. Yoga Movement is more than just yoga; it’s a lifestyle.”
The new Hong Kong studio occupies a spacious 4,000-square-foot area with stunning views of Central. It features a large practice room that can accommodate 34 mats, as well as a more intimate room for 16 mats. Members can relax in a chill-out lounge before or after classes, and there are fully equipped changing rooms with lockers, showers, and complimentary towels.
The studio offers up to seven different types of classes, catering to various skill levels and preferences, including both hot and non-hot options. Beginners can start with entry-level classes, while seasoned practitioners can challenge themselves with more advanced sessions. Each class is designed with specific goals in mind, whether it’s to break a sweat, mentally unwind, or improve technique.
For those interested in joining, Yoga Movement offers a variety of membership options. The All Access Pass starts at HK$2,100 per month for unlimited classes, with the cost decreasing to as low as HK$1,700 per month for longer commitments. Share Packs, designed for groups, offer 25 classes for HK$5,290 or 50 classes for HK$8,990. Solo options are also available, with packs ranging from 5 classes for HK$1,390 to 30 classes for HK$5,290. A single Drop-In class can be purchased for HK$300.
Yoga Movement’s Central studio is now open to the public, offering Hong Kong residents a new place to practice yoga and connect with a like-minded community.
