MIAMI — Club Med, renowned for pioneering the all-inclusive vacation concept, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with globally acclaimed yoga instructor Jonah Kest. Under this alliance, Kest assumes the role of Yoga Ambassador for Club Med’s North American and Caribbean resorts. This strategic collaboration underscores Club Med’s unwavering commitment to promoting holistic well-being, enhancing guest experiences, and solidifying its position as the premier lifestyle vacation brand.
Jonah Kest, hailing from a distinguished yoga lineage, is celebrated worldwide for his mastery in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga. His renowned teaching style and previous collaborations with industry giants like Nike and Netflix highlight his profound influence in the wellness sphere. Aligning seamlessly with Club Med’s ethos of curating rejuvenating experiences, Kest’s partnership aims to elevate the resort’s yoga program to unprecedented heights.
Recently, Kest conducted an immersive training session for Club Med’s yoga instructors (referred to as Gracious Organizers or G.Os) across the North American and Caribbean resorts. This training aimed to streamline and enrich the Wellness Fusion program, integrating Kest’s signature techniques and yoga flows. Through intensive workshops and personalized mentoring, Kest equipped instructors with innovative approaches to yoga sequencing, curated music selections, and a renewed focus on holistic wellness. Motivated and inspired by Kest’s teachings, these instructors are now poised to deliver exceptional yoga experiences to guests.
Guests at Club Med resorts can now embark on an enhanced wellness journey guided by Kest’s expertise. Kest has introduced three meticulously crafted yoga flows – Roots Yoga for grounding, Restorative Yoga for serenity, and Flow Yoga for energy – ensuring a diverse range of practices tailored to different preferences and skill levels. Certified yoga G.Os, trained under Kest’s guidance, offer over 20 hours of weekly yoga and meditation sessions, set against the breathtaking backdrops of Club Med’s coastal and tropical retreats.
Carolyne Doyon, President and CEO of Club Med North America and the Caribbean, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to partner with Jonah Kest, a globally recognized yoga instructor, to enhance the wellness experience at Club Med. Kest’s expertise perfectly complements our vision of providing enriching and holistic guest experiences. This collaboration marks a significant milestone as we expand our Wellness Fusion program across North American resorts, reaffirming our commitment to promoting well-being and fostering community spirit.”
This year marks the culmination of Club Med’s expansion of the Wellness Fusion program across seven North American properties. This comprehensive initiative combines diverse wellness activities such as yoga, nutritious dining options, sports activities, spa treatments, and nature immersion. Since its inception in 2022, the program has evolved to include dedicated yoga G.Os at each resort, guided wellness sessions, and a rotating menu of plant-based dishes developed in collaboration with renowned vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli of Food Network fame. The Wellness Fusion program is now available at Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, Club Med Punta Cana, Club Med Québec, Club Med Ixtapa Pacific, Club Med Cancún, Club Med Columbus, and Club Med Turkoise.
Reflecting on his collaboration with Club Med, Jonah Kest remarked, “Partnering with Club Med is an extraordinary opportunity to share the transformative power of yoga in some of the world’s most serene locations. Having visited Club Med as a child, this partnership feels like a meaningful journey to guide guests towards achieving profound balance and tranquility through the enriched Wellness Fusion yoga program.”
Throughout the year, Jonah Kest will lead exclusive yoga sessions and wellness experiences at various Club Med resorts. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming programming.
