The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has launched the 3rd Edition of the Antarashtriya Yoga Diwas Media Samman (AYDMS) for the year 2024. This initiative aims to recognize the pivotal role of media in promoting and disseminating information on Yoga, both within India and globally.
The ministry has extended the deadline for submissions to July 15, 2024, providing an expanded opportunity for media organizations to participate in this esteemed accolade.
AYDMS 2024 will commend outstanding coverage of Yoga across three primary categories: Print, Television, and Radio. A total of 33 awards will be conferred, with each category featuring 11 awards, encompassing content in 22 Indian languages and English.
The awards seek to foster and enhance awareness about Yoga, acknowledging its significance as an ancient practice that integrates physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions.
Participation is open to all media houses and companies engaged in print, radio, and television, possessing registration or authorization from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Entry is voluntary and free of charge.
Evaluation criteria will center on the contribution of entries to the corpus of knowledge on Yoga and its role in promoting mental, physical, and spiritual well-being among the public. Entries must encompass content published or broadcasted between June 12 and June 25, 2024.
Interested participants are required to complete the registration form as per guidelines and submit it alongside pertinent clippings or audio-visual material to [email protected]. Submissions should additionally include a photograph and a concise work profile spanning 150-200 words.
