KURNOOL: District Sports Officer Bhupathi Rao urged local Yoga athletes to showcase their talents and strive for victory as they prepare to compete in the 49th National Yoga Sports Championship in Himachal Pradesh, scheduled for October 24 to 27.
During a send-off event held on Sunday, Rao emphasized the significance of the championship, which will feature two categories: sub-junior and junior levels. Representing Kurnool district, five athletes are set to participate, including Sri Krishna Priya in the girls’ category and Likith, Saketh, Satwik Rupamohan Naidu, and Muhammad Asaz in the boys’ category.
The event was attended by several notable figures, including District Yoga Association Chairman Sreedhar Reddy, President Lakshmikanth Reddy, Secretary Manchikanti Avinash Shetty, and Handball Association Secretary Rudra Reddy.
